The end of my lease is up and im confused?

I've never rented a room until i rented a room in december and my lease ends in the end of june which is in a couple of days, According to my landlord im suppose to give a 30days notice even though the lease is up? I paid my deposit i payed the rent on the 1st, and he is telling my that i need to pay rent for the room i have until tuesdays of next week, if i dont it results in forfeiture of my deposit plus 3 months rent and 500 in court? Even though my six months are up on tuesday and i already payed junes rent?
