In how many ways could William upset his father's plans for Kinghood and so leapfrou like to ask?

I am thinking that if William has clever advisors they will already be thinking about this question. My view is that because the act of settlement forbids the king from marrying a divorcee, then William can play this card when the time is right. He could already start buttering up to Cameron on this issue. He could also start a smear campaign in the media, leaking out behind the scenes facts about Charles And Diana's marriage that make Charles look bad. Finally he could butter up to the Queen. Any other ways?
