Questions about my lease?

So me and my now ex-girlfriend signed a year long lease in November 2010. We broke up and she hasn't been staying here since April. She has continued to pay me her half of the rent. She tried to be let out of the lease this month and my landlord (and the real estate company they work with) said no. The lease doesn't say I pay half, she pays half. I'm worried she is going to say screw it and not pay her half and walk away with no consequences and the rent will fall on me. I cannot afford to live in this apartment alone. So I guess my question is if she doesn't pay and there are no consequences for her, then there will be no consequences for me if I just don't pay and move out?
